Trick - Trick Titles - Trick Training - JOIN MY GROUP!
Trick can be any behaviour performed by the dog on cue, even sit, but in general we understand a little more complicated exercises, more surprising, creative ones, which can even be presented to an audience.
Example for a simple trick: paws in my hand
Example for a complex trick:
1. owner sneezes (cue), send for a tissue
2. dog brings tissue
2 a. dog goes to tissue box
2 b. dog pulls a tissue out of the box
2 c. dog brings tissue to owner
2 d. dog gives tissue to onwer's hand, holds it if needed
3. owner blows nose
4. dog throws out the tissue
4 a. dog takes tissue from owner
4 b. dog goes to the bin
4 c. dog opens bin (with pedal if needed)
4 d. dog throws tissue into bin

On her page DoMoreWithYourDog Kyra Sundance has defined 5 trick titles, aknowledged by the AKC American Kennel Club, and similarly to the working tests and beauty championships, it can be used with the dog's name:
1. NTD Novice Trick Dog
2. ITD Intermediate Trick Dog
3. ATD Advanced Trick Dog
4. ETD Expert Trick Dog
5. TDCH Trick Dog Champion
With Millie we finished our Trick Dog Champion TDCH title!
Millie is the
- FIRST TDCH rough collie in Europe
- FIRST TDCH dog in Hungary
- 4th TDCH rough collie worldwide!

With Millie, we continued the program with the new areas implemented in Summer 2020:
- Millie is the first dog in Hungary with Canine Conditioning Fitness CCF1 title,
- Millie is the first dog in Hungary with Novice Stunt Dog NSD title,
- so with all 3 first level titles, Millie is the first dog in Hungary with TripleCrown1 title!
It is advised to teach tricks, like any other exercise, divided into small pieces, with a lot of positive reinforcement, to make both the dog and the owner happy. We use clicker training method, all 6 types (capturing, luring, targeting, modelling/molding, shaping and mimicking), but of course any other method can be used.
In Kyra Sundance Do More With Your Dog's system we can become a CTDI Certified Trick Dog Instructor. I passed the exam in November 2018 and am happy to help you learn tricks and testimony your tricks.
